Generation 4 Change ‘Trainee of the Year’ Winner

MCP Environmental are delighted to announce Jordan Rickett who joined MCP as an apprentice was awarded ‘Trainee of the Year’ at the 2017 Generation 4 Change Awards. The awards celebrate excellence and best practice within the construction, housing and regeneration sector.

Jordan is a highly valued member of the team and has now been promoted to Lead Surveyor managing asbestos and Decent Homes/HHSRS surveys nationwide.

Age UK Volunteering

MCP Environmental chairman supported the charity for the day, serving Christmas dinners, chatting with senior citizens and helping out with the quiz for a memorable day.

Sourcing local suppliers

MCP Environmental take every opportunity to source equipment and supplies to support local businesses and reduce our carbon footprint while positively influencing our communities.

Providing Apprenticeship opportunities

MCP Environmental provide apprenticeship opportunities for local young people to secure recognised qualifications and industry experience through on the job training. Enhancing their employability skills and confidence.

Complimentary housing surveys

MCP Environmental provided complimentary asbestos refurbishment surveys before a programme of bathroom enhancements commenced for a local homeless shelter.

Empowering local students

MCP Environmental supported local college students with training (interview coaching) to build their confidence and enhance their employability prospects.

Food bank donations

MCP Environmental collected donations from staff and suppliers for the Bradford Metropolitan Food Bank on a quarterly basis to support the local community with food and toiletries.

Charity Sponsored Walk

MCP Environmental staff, family members and suppliers took part in a 12 mile sponsored walk along the Leeds Liverpool canal from Shipley to Leeds to raise funds for Mesothelioma UK and The Indee Rose Trust to support the arca charity week.

Generation 4 Change Awards Sponsorship

MCP Environmental sponsored the Technical Apprentice of The Year category for the 2016 and 2017 awards. The awards are an exclusive opportunity for the Yorkshire and Humber to celebrate outstanding examples of excellence and best practice within the construction, housing and regeneration sector.
