Decent Homes / Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS)

MCP Environmental Surveyors assess the condition of properties for local authorities and private landlords to ensure compliance under the Housing Act 2004.

Every surveyor identifies against 29 HHSRS categories of potential hazards including: damp and mould; excess cold; falls between levels, in addition to four Decent Homes categories including: fitness, repair, facilities and thermal comfort.
