MCP facilitates University £520 million masterplan

MCP Environmental have secured a contract with principal contractor Morgan Sindall to provide civil engineering services for the replacement of The University of Leeds - The Edge – Five a side football pitch.

The University of Leeds 37-hectare estate presented unique challenges working around the 33,000 students and 8,000 staff. Strict noise regulations required the use of noise curtains due to the close proximity of the laboratories and teaching facilities.

Morgan Sindall, Project Manager – Paul Waite said: “We are really happy with the quality and finish delivered by MCP Environmental for the newly refurbished Five-a-side football pitch.
