MCP Environmental were appointed licensed asbestos removal contractor for Temple Newsam stately home.
Client Leeds City Council owns and manages the stately home set in 1500 acres.
The works included licensed removal from the former cowshed located on Home Farm which is part of the impressive estate comprising of the Tudor- Jacobean mansion.
MCP ensured safe and responsible disposal of asbestos waste utilizing MCP’s licensed hazardous waste carrier vehicles and licensed HSE waste disposal unit.
Independent air monitoring and clearance by a UKAS accredited analytical company was conducted and an air clearance certificate issued to facilitate the proposed redevelopment of the outbuildings.
