Company buzz for cleaner fleet

MCP Environmental are championing hybrid technology with new additions to the company fleet.

MCP are delighted to take delivery of the hybrid Mitsubishi Outland PHEV 4 Work to the hybrid fleet. The vehicle has a large flat load area to accommodate the specialist asbestos surveying equipment which will be used by the asbestos surveying team.

The new addition compliments the existing three Volkswagen Passat GTE vehicles offering a combination of electric motor and 1.4 litre TSI petrol engine returning over 156 MPG, a miniscule 40g/km of CO2 and 31-mile electric range. Three Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV return similar figures. The growing hybrid fleet confirms MCP’s commitment to reducing its impact on the environment through investing in cleaner more sustainable technology.

Shaun Dennison - Asbestos Surveying Operations Manager said: “The new hybrid is a welcome addition to the fleet and will prove invaluable. Driving the hybrid vehicles allows us to lessen our environmental impact. Quick chargers on site allow us to charge our vehicles quickly in between site visits.”
