Asbestos Removal and Encapsulation

MCP Environmental provide complete asbestos abatement solutions to ensure asbestos is safely removed or encapsulated under carefully controlled conditions.

Our experienced team of Asbestos Consultants manage every aspect of the project from initial meeting to waste transfer ensuring projects are efficient and fully compliant.

As an upper tier waste carrier, we safely consign asbestos hazardous waste to our fully licenced waste transfer station, ensuring all parties fulfil their duties under the hazardous waste regulations.

Asbestos Removal

Non-licensed Asbestos Removal

  • Removal of low risk items including floor tiles, asbestos cement and electrical scrapes

Licensed Asbestos Removal

  • Removal of asbestos insulation board, sprayed coatings and lagging

Notifiable Non-Licensed Removal

  • Large scale removal of textured coatings e.g Artex

Asbestos Encapsulation

  • Sealing Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM’s) using ET150 encapsulation paint

Site Scoping

  • MCP advise clients on methodology, sequence of working, client responsibilities, etc

Asbestos Consultancy

  • MCP offers a comprehensive consultancy service including awareness training, surveying, laboratory sample testing, removal and encapsulation

Notifying HSE of Licensed Works

  • Under Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR) all licensed works have to be notified to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE)

Arranging Site Clearance Certificates

  • MCP arrange all aspects of site clearance certificates utilising a network of Independent UKAS accredited analytical companies

Waste Disposal

  • Upper tier waste carriers license in house waste transfer station

Stakeholder Management

  • MCPs expertise working and communicating with stakeholders at all levels ensures that site works including industrial, commercial and tenanted properties progress smoothly

Land remediation including associated civil engineering works if required
