Following on from our recent blog post about Bradford Bulls starman Kieran Gill joining MCP as a trainee surveyor, his team mates Sam Hallas & Jordan Baldwinson have taken up similar roles with MCP.
Jordan and Sam are used to being team-mates with Kieran Gill on the field and because they enjoy it so much, they’ve decided to join him off it too
In January 2024, Kieran and two other trainee surveyors, Alex Smith & Brad Ho, successfully passed their P402 qualification and are now qualified and authorised asbestos surveyors for MCP. Travelling nationwide, they will be entering domestic, commercial and industrial premises, conducting asbestos surveys in a variety of different settings.
Late 2023 and early 2024 saw MCP recruit 3 more trainee surveyors, in current Dewsbury Rams player Calum Turner, and current Bradford Bulls players Sam Hallas & Jordan Baldwinson.
Stefan Osina, Commercial Director at MCP Environmental said:
“We are delighted to have seen our team grow with the additions of Jordan Baldwinson, Sam Hallas & Calum Turner in recent months, joining Kieran Gill who started with us at MCP Environmental last year and has now qualified as an asbestos surveyor alongside our other trainees, Brad & Alex.
“There are a lot of transferable skills we look for in trainees that are evident in rugby players, in terms of being disciplined, hard working and have a real willingness to learn.
“Those attributes are present in abundance with Jordan, Sam, Brad, Alex, Calum & Kieran and it further strengthens what is a mutually beneficial partnership between us and the Bradford Bulls.”
Ian Stafford, Commercial Manager at Bradford Bulls said:
“Andy, Stefan and the team at MCP Environmental have been fantastic supporters and sponsors of the Bradford Bulls over recent years and this is another example of them going above and beyond for the club.
“It shows their commitment to helping support the club on and off the field the fact they have not only taken Kieran Gill on board, but also Sam and Jordan more recently.
“The strength of our partnership is evident and we enjoy a great relationship with the team at MCP Environmental and we look forward to seeing Kieran, Sam and Jordan do themselves and the club proud with their latest venture.”
Both Sam & Calum will be shortly embarking on their courses and we wish them the very best.
