More Health & Safety Recognition for MCP

On Tuesday 4th October, National Grid recognised MCP’s achievements and dedication to Health & Safety by awarding us their first “SHEQ Performance Award” for our outstanding support on a sensitive project.
Nick Ames, Health & Safety at MCP said, “We are delighted to have been awarded the first SHEQ Performance Award, as it shows how serious MCP take health and safety as an organisation. We hope this is one of many awards, and we thank National Grid in their efforts to help us achieve this.”
MCP have worked with National Grid for several years across a variety of sites, yet none have been as challenging or as important as this site for the infrastructure of the UK. Being recognised for this achievement provides the whole MCP team with reinforcement that their efforts, in particular in regard to Health & Safety are not unrecognised and pushes us to strive to achieve even more in future projects.
