MCP Environmental were appointed to conduct Asbestos Management Re-Inspections and Refurbishment Surveying works for the Yorkshire Building Society.
Yorkshire Building Society is the third largest building society in the UK with 3 million members which includes the Chelsea Building Society and Norwich and Peterborough Building Society.
MCP have conducted asbestos surveys for over 80 branches nationwide from Scotland to Plymouth, prior to various refurbishment works and for management purposes ensuring the society’s continued compliance with The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
The surveys included a thorough inspection by P402 qualified asbestos surveyors of the customer and staff areas for the presence of any Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM’s) and if located, to assess the status of the ACM for damage or disturbance.
Suspected ACM samples were dispatched for laboratory analysis with a comprehensive survey report sent to head office upon completion.
The surveys are undertaken discretely and professionally, usually in a live retail environment. The surveyors are always courteous and respectful of our staff and customers.”
