MCP Environmental were appointed to conduct Asbestos Management Surveying works at East Leeds Cricket Club. The historic cricket club is the community hub with its buildings dating back to the 1920’s.
The club requested the survey to ensure compliance with The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012; Regulation 4 “Duty to Manage Asbestos in Non-Domestic Premises”, and maintain their asbestos register for tradespeople working on site to avoid potential asbestos exposure.
The Management Survey included a thorough investigation by a P402 qualified asbestos surveyor of their; club room, changing room, bar and kitchen to assess for the presence of any Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) and if located, to identify the status of the ACM for damages or disturbance.
Suspect asbestos samples were dispatched for laboratory analysis with a comprehensive survey report and updated management plan sent to the club.
“We at East Leeds were very impressed by the speed and professionalism shown by MCP and would highly recommend them.” Club Chairman - Dennis Nicholson
